Dr. Tyler Kennedy’s Departure from Nurture Pediatrics
We want to share some important news with you regarding our team. Dr. Tyler Kennedy will be leaving Nurture Pediatrics effective May 31, 2025, as he embarks on an exciting new opportunity at Boston Children's Hospital. While we are saddened to see him go, we are incredibly grateful for the compassionate care he has provided to so many children and families.
Dr. Kennedy has been a dedicated and trusted provider, known for his kind and enthusiastic demeanor, thorough care, and ability to make both parents and children feel at ease. His patients have consistently praised his attentiveness, patience, and genuine passion for pediatric medicine. We know he will be greatly missed, and we deeply appreciate the positive impact he has had on our Nurture Pediatrics staff, patients and families.
For any appointments scheduled with Dr. Kennedy after May 31, our staff will reach out to you and your child’s appointment will be rescheduled with another provider. If you have a preference for a specific provider, please call our office to request them. As always, well visits, sports physicals and same-day sick visits remain available with any of our Nurture Pediatrics providers.
Your family’s continuity of care is our priority, and we remain committed to serving as your child’s medical home. Here are your next steps:
- To continue care at Nurture Pediatrics: You may select another primary care provider by reviewing profiles at www.NurturePediatrics.com.
- We understand that continuity of care is important, and we want to reassure you that your child’s medical record is available to all of Nurture’s excellent providers. This will ensure a smooth transition of care with minimal disruption.
- To transfer your child’s medical records:
- Complete and sign a medical information release form.
- The form is available on our website (www.nurturepediatrics.com/patient-information) or can be picked up at our Smyrna office (810 Medical Park, Smyrna, TN 37167) during office hours.
- Once submitted, we will facilitate the transfer of records to the medical practice of your choice.
