Lauren Edmond Tennant, DO 

In July 2026, Nurture Pediatrics is thrilled to welcome Dr. Lauren Edmond to our team. Dr. Edmond brings a genuine passion for pediatric care, a warm and attentive approach, and a deep commitment to building real relationships with the families she serves.

Dr. Edmond earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Rhodes College in Memphis before going on to complete her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital at Erlanger through the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga, graduating in June 2025. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and holds an active Tennessee Osteopathic Physician License.

Prior to joining Nurture Pediatrics, Dr. Edmond served as the founding pediatrician at a new clinic location in Sevierville, Tennessee, where she built a patient panel from the ground up and quickly earned a reputation for the kind of care families had been looking for. The feedback she received from her patients' families says it best — she is a pediatrician who listens, who takes her time, and who makes families feel truly heard.

Dr. Edmond cares for patients from birth through young adulthood and is committed to partnering with parents at every stage of their child's growth and health. Outside of the office, she enjoys water sports, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her pets.
